Time served Fabricator/Welder & sheet metalworker required. Must be able to work from engineering drawings. Sheetmetal experience would be an advantage. Clean Driving licence essential. must be conversant with MiG. Stick& Tig and stick welding .Will work mainly in-house and on site locally.
Hourly rate is dependant upon experience and ability , overtime is available upon request and invitation , overtime based at time and a half and Sunday at double time

About the Role: As a Time Served Fabricator/Welder & Sheet Metalworker, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and fabricating metal components to the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This role requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, as well as the ability to work with sheet metal. You'll primarily work in-house at our facility, with occasional on-site assignments in the local area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components according to precise measurements and tolerances.
- Utilize MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques to join metal parts and structures, ensuring strong and durable welds.
- Work with various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, to fabricate a wide range of products and components.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, and saws to cut, bend, and shape metal materials.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding, with a proven track record of excellence in the field.
- Valid work authorization within the UK - we don't provide sponsorship/visa/relocation
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, with the ability to work independently and accurately.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred but not required.
- Clean driving license is essential for occasional on-site assignments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
