Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest receives a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Manage the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change to customers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquets or catering events to ensure seamless service
- Demonstrate strong time management skills during peak hours to maintain efficient service
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in Public House or Hotel settings preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
- Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or retail environments
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
