Summary
Rain Rescue is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook to join our team in Misson for our new cafe opening. We are seeking a passionate and talented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high quality food, managing daily kitchen operations, maintaining strict hygiene standards and developing menus.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking high quality food items for our menu,
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with wider team to contribute to the growth and success of the cafe
- Follow food safety regulations at all times.
- Support community events
- Ensure all food preparation areas are hygienic and organized.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Chef/Cook in similar environments.
- Excellent Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
