Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Shop Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations within our store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Organise staff rotas, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficient store operations.
- Manage stock levels, organise merchandising displays, and oversee inventory control to maximise sales opportunities.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to increase revenue and customer engagement.
- Maintain high standards of visual presentation within the store in line with brand guidelines.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via various communication channels including phone etiquette.
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, store policies, and procedures at all times.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication skills and organisational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a retail setting, including supervising teams and managing sales targets.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks related to retail operations.
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using retail management software or point-of-sale systems.
- Previous experience in team management, supervising staff, and implementing organisational procedures is desirable.
- A professional attitude with good phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
