Duties
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the café, ensuring excellent standards of food, service, cleanliness, team training and development, and team performance is maintained at all times. You will lead from the front, supporting your team and creating a welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Assist in supervising daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Oversee team members’ performance, providing guidance, training, and motivation to foster a cohesive work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and service areas
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food production processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with the team to implement new menu items, promotional events, and service improvements skills
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management and leadership abilities with a passion for motivating others
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with hospitality standards, including serving protocols and customer service excellence
- Barista Trained
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or above)
- Allergen and compliance awareness
Working Hours

- Applicants must be able to commit to at least one weekend day each week
- Additional hours will be worked during weekdays based on business requirements, and both weekend days may be required subject to business needs.
