To be successful in the role, you need to be suitably qualified and/or experienced and progressing, or committed to progress, professional membership to chartered status via CIBSE/IET etc. plus relevant accredited degree or HNC/HND minimum or equivalent in Building Services. You will need to be proficient in designing and calculating electrical services including small power, Data/IT, Fire Alarms, Security, Access Control, lighting, power distribution, renewables such as photovoltaics etc., to the built estate on behalf of the County Council. You will have the ability to undertake effective client liaison which could be schools, care homes, libraries, countryside estate, or external clients. You will also have strong organisational skills and experience of delivering a range of projects which could be engineering only or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
