Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete multiple drop-offs across designated routes
- Load and unload packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery confirmations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics environments is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with <PERSON> driver protocols or similar driving standards is desirable
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork
