Overview
We are seeking a qualified NPORS Instructor to deliver specialised training programmes related to construction and plant machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing learners in accordance with industry standards, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to operate equipment safely and effectively. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive training sessions on NPORS certification requirements, including practical and theoretical assessments.
- Develop customised training programmes tailored to individual learner needs and organisational standards.
- Assess learners’ progress through written tests and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessment outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all training activities adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe learning environment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, updates in NPORS standards, and best practices in technical instruction.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to organise training schedules and optimise resource utilisation.
Skills
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information.
- Strong organisational skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver training sessions efficiently.
- Experience in plumbing or related trades is desirable, providing practical context for learners.
- Proven teaching ability with a track record of delivering engaging and effective instruction.
- Good IT skills for managing digital records, assessments, and presentation materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate learners and foster a positive learning environment. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to professional development and capable of inspiring confidence among trainees while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in instruction.
Pay: £40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
