Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Managing daily bar opening/closing, cellar upkeep, stock levels, and inventory control.
- Oversee the smooth running of the club during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments are aligned and executing service priorities.
- Staff: Recruiting, training, scheduling rotas, and leading the hospitality team.
- Finance: Monitoring budgets, managing cost control, and driving new revenue ideas (such as mid-week daytime offers for the padel and tennis sections).
- Compliance: Enforcing health, safety, and licensing laws
· Resolve any member or guest complaints professionally and swiftly.
· Book events, collect deposits, final payments and produce invoices to clients.
· Ensure monthly events are tracked on the events booking system for internal and external events
· Meet regularly with upper management to stay informed on company updates
PERSON SPECIFICATION
· Relevant experience as a Bar and Catering Manager
· Wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages knowledge.
· Financial and budgeting and stock-taking skills.
· Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
· Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
· Strong leadership and motivating skills including the ability to build strong relationships with members, guests and staff.
· Takes a professional approach.
· Knowledge of regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance.
· Able to manage and control inventory of bar supplies and beverages.
· Versatile approach – able to work quickly and accurately during pressurised periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
Pay: £31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
