Willshees Waste & Recycling is a well-established, family-owned waste management and recycling company. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Skip Driver to join our expanding transport team.

The Role
As a Class 2 Skip Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery, exchange, and collection of skips across our customer base, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Deliver, exchange, and collect skips from domestic, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Operate skip-loading equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork or electronic records accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Willshees professionally at all times.
- Plan routes efficiently and comply with all road traffic legislation and driver hours regulations.
- Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and well presented.
- Work closely with the transport office and other members of the team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving skip vehicles is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport legislation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 6:00am – 12:00pm
