We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our team In Newport.
This role involves providing essential support and assistance to individuals within the community, promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a caring attitude, and experience in supervising or mentoring others. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Deliver personalised care and support to clients in their own homes or community settings
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any incidents or concerns
- Promote social inclusion by encouraging participation in community activities and events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies
Requirements
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence
- Own Car
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required
- Relevant qualifications in health or social care are advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for successful applicants
