Nightingales Recovery is more than just a cluster of Cafe's and Coffee Houses. We are part of Nightingales Hub, a community organisation supporting people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
Our main Hub café helps cerate's a welcoming, stigma-free environment where people can connect, rebuild confidence and access support. Income from the Cafe's and Coffee Houses helps sustain our recovery services and community programmes.
We pride ourselves on offering fresh, simple, nutritious food in a relaxed and friendly space, while creating opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef / Cook to join our team's on a multi site basis working shifts between two of our venues.

- Gather & Graze Coffee House & Eatery, 32 Banks Road, West Kirby, CH48 0RD
Our Hub menu is simple and café-style (breakfasts, toasties, light lunches and daily specials), so the role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing good food in a supportive community setting.
Our Gather & Graze menu is designed around grazing board, fresh Pizza's and fresh produce.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining high food hygiene standards and helping ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.

- Managing stock and basic kitchen prep
- Working with the café team to deliver a friendly customer experience

- Experience working in a kitchen or café environment
- Good understanding of food hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to support a community-focused environment
