About Us
THE HAIR CLUB is an award-winning, busy and established salon based on the Barkham Ride, Finchampsted/Wokingham. We pride ourselves on delivering beautiful, healthy hair alongside an exceptional client experience set within a brand new beautiful, modern converted barn.
We’re a friendly, supportive and ambitious team with high standards, and we’re looking for an experienced Hair Stylist to join THE HAIR CLUB.
The Role
We’re looking for a confident and passionate stylist who loves what they do, takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about creating an experience for every client.
You’ll be responsible for managing a busy column, continuing to grow your clientele, delivering high-quality cutting, styling and colour services, building strong relationships with clients and contributing positively to the salon and wider team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver professional cutting, colouring, styling and finishing services to a consistently high standard.
+ Carry out thorough consultations and create personalised hair plans for clients.
+ Provide honest, professional advice while prioritising the health and integrity of the client’s hair.
+ Build and maintain strong client relationships and encourage client retention.
+ Recommend appropriate professional homecare and products.
+ Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
+ Work collaboratively with the rest of THE HAIR CLUB team.
+ Take part in salon education and training and continue developing your skills.
+ Help create the welcoming, relaxed and professional experience that THE HAIR CLUB is known for.

+ Be a qualified and experienced hair stylist.
+ Be confident in both cutting and colouring.
+ Have strong consultation skills and excellent attention to detail.
+ Be passionate about hair health and producing high-quality work.
+ Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Be reliable, punctual and professional.
+ Be motivated to build and maintain a busy client column.
+ Be a positive team player who is willing to support others.
+ Be open to feedback, education and continued professional development.
+ Take pride in their appearance, work and workspace.
+ Understand that the client’s overall experience is just as important as the finished result.

Salon opening hours
Tuesday: 09:00am – 13:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 20:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 20:00pm
Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm
Saturday: 08:00am – 4:00pm
(Working hours will be agreed upon depending on whether you are looking for a part-time or full-time position.)

Pay: £27,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
