Due to the expansion of our provision for the upcoming academic year including the introduction of a new Level 1 programme, we are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience within the sport, fitness, health or coaching sectors and will spend 12hrs per week supporting Level 1 learners within the classroom environment including some lesson cover when required to support the wider sports curriculum team. In addition, 6hrs per week is needed to deliver functional skills in English and Maths. We welcome applications from individuals with either a teaching background or substantial industry experience. Experience of supporting lower-level learners is essential, and experience working with learners who have additional learning needs would be highly advantageous.
Individuals interested in a part-time role in Functional Skills only or as a Teaching Assistant with sports or L1/SEND experience are encouraged to apply separately.
Pay: £14,000.00 per year
