We are looking for someone special to join the toddler/two’s room at our full day care Woking, Surrey nursery. This is a full-time role.
You will be a fully qualified childcare practitioner with a minimum of 1 year of recent working experience within a day care setting, ideally with experience of working with two year olds. (N.B.In order to be considered for the role you should be based a commutable distance from the nursery).

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing the highest level of childcare and early education experiences for all children in the nursery.
- Working as part of a well-qualified & experienced staff team and contributing to the running and development of the nursery.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise and support children ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in line with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and organise group activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Manage behaviour positively, encouraging good manners and social skills.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the nursery environment.
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and health & safety policies.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting is a must.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- You must hold a UK or UK recognised Early Years qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or higher. Any overseas qualifications must be certified as meeting the requirements of the UK Government Early Years Qualification Framework.
