Response Logistics are Manchesters premier distribution company for pallet collections and deliveries across UK and Ireland. Based in Ashton-under-Lyne we are part of a network with over 90+ depots across the country to service customers collection and delivery requirements.
Who are we looking for?
Due to ongoing expansion and a thirst for growth we are looking for an Operations Team Member for our site based in OL7.
The right candidate must be Willing, Honest, Reliable, Accountable, Committed, Capable and Professional in all elements of their work.
Basic Shift Time
06:00 - 16:00 with a 1 hour lunch break, but may need to adapt to business needs where required.
Job requirements:
- Be able to understand and follow the department core processes including (but not limited to): Contacting Network Depots, liaising with drivers, raising discrepancies and change of revenue, booking in deliveries, solving operational problems, loading/unloading vehicles
- Be a proficient Forklift Operator
- Be able to work within a team, and use your own initiative when needed.
- Be willing to learn various tasks within the department and cover absences/holidays if required.
Essential requirements:
- Flexibility of working hours to suit the needs of the business where required.
- Manual handling where required.
Preferred requirements:
- Forklift Driving experience is essential
