The Foyle Food Group is actively seeking applications from Graduates / Accounting Technicians interested in pursuing a career in Accountancy – we have an opportunity within the Group Accounting team for an ambitious individual who is keen to begin a career in accountancy while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, on a fixed term 12-month placement you will gain exposure to all aspects of finance operations, management accounting, and business reporting while developing skills that will support future professional qualifications and career progression.
Essential
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline, or
- Accounting Technician qualification (ATI or equivalent), or currently studying towards a recognised accounting qualification
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous placement, internship, or work experience within a finance function
- Experience using accounting or ERP software
- Interest in pursuing professional accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
