Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a strong understanding of automotive parts and maintenance. This role offers an engaging environment where you will assist customers in identifying the correct parts, manage inventory, and ensure smooth daily operations within our workshop or retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and provide expert advice on automotive parts and accessories
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts based on their vehicle requirements
- Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and inventory using Microsoft Excel or similar programmes
- Manage stock levels, organise storage areas, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries and placing orders over the phone
- Support maintenance tasks within the workshop or retail environment as required
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled with clear communication and organisational skills to enhance customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with new products, industry trends, and technical information relevant to automotive parts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive or retail industry is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Fluency in one or more additional languages (bilingual or multilingual) is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining organisational efficiency

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
