Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled <PERSON> to join our construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of building, repair, and installation projects with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform masonry, carpentry, roofing, and general construction tasks
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with attention to detail to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality
- Install roofing systems, including shingles, metal panels, or other materials, following safety standards and project specifications
- Operate welding equipment to join metal components securely for structural or decorative purposes
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans
- Conduct site inspections to assess progress, identify safety hazards, and ensure compliance with building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, or related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction work
- Strong knowledge of building techniques including bricklaying and general masonry skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid certifications or licenses related to roofing, welding or other specialized skills are a plus
