Warehouse Worker – Full Time | 45 Hours/Week | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our close-knit team within a dynamic logistics firm. This hands-on role involves a variety of warehouse and delivery duties, including order picking, container unloading, local driving, and general warehouse support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack goods using a handheld scanning system
- Wrap and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are securely and properly packaged
- Drive a van locally to complete deliveries and collections
- Move, wrap, and sort pallets efficiently and safely
- Perform manual unloading of containers (regular heavy lifting up to 30kg required)
- Load freight onto vehicles, ensuring accurate checks and dispatch records
- Stock check and maintain inventory accuracy
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Experience or solid understanding of warehouse operations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items regularly (up to 30kg)
- Hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong organisational and numeracy skills
- Positive attitude and a willingness to be on your feet all day
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
Hours & Additional Info:
- 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Extra hours often available from 6:30am for container unloading
