Experienced Sprayer with Management Experience – Commercial Decorating
K Maintenance Limited is a well-established commercial decorating company with a dedicated specialist spraying division, operating across London and the UK. We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Sprayer with proven management experience to join our team on a long-term, self-employed basis.
This role is ideal for a senior-level sprayer who is confident delivering high-quality finishes across a broad range of commercial and high-end projects, including cladding, steelwork, and internal and external architectural surfaces, as well as refurbishment works.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on sprayer, taking primary responsibility for all spray application work and maintaining consistently high standards across every project.
Duties
- Carry out airless spray application to a high professional standard
- Apply a range of coatings including cladding systems and intumescent paints
- Set up, operate, and maintain spray equipment
- Ensure correct film builds (WFT) and consistent finish across all works
- Work from specifications, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines
- Supervise junior spray operatives when required
- Follow all site-specific RAMS, health & safety procedures, and instructions
- Work at height using MEWPs where required
- Competent use of client and in house portals and systems
- Generating and submitting reports via tablet and phone
Experience
- Proven experience in airless spraying (essential)
- Experience with commercial / industrial projects
- Experience with steel, architectural steel spraying, or intumescent spraying preferred
- IPAF Licence (preferred)
- Blue CSCS Card (essential)
- Strong understanding of preparation standards and coating systems
- Ability to work from specifications and deliver consistent finishes
- Reliable with a can-do attitude
- Knowledge of WFT / DFT and coating specifications preferred
- Experience working under strict site RAMS and using client portals to manage documents and instructions
- Ability to supervise and instruct small teams on site
- Professional on site and in communication with client
Pay: £200.00-£260.00 per day
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (required)
