We are a specialist contract cleaning company based in Lancashire, working on prestigious sites across Manchester city centre.
As our business grows, we are looking to expand our team and offer an exciting opportunity to work on some of Manchester city centre’s tallest and most iconic buildings.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hard-working window cleaning operative who takes pride in delivering a professional service to both the company and our clients. The role involves a range of access methods, mainly window cleaning from BMUs and MEWPs, so proven experience with traditional and conventional window cleaning methods is essential. This role may also suit a self-employed window cleaner looking to increase their hours.
Attention to detail is essential, and all work must be carried out safely, efficiently and in line with instructions from managers and supervisors. BMU training will be provided.
You must be able to drive to either a designated pick-up spot in the Burnley/Padiham area, or to/from each work site in Manchester.
Duties
- Carry out high-quality internal and external window cleaning on high-rise commercial buildings using specialist equipment and cleaning products.
- Tasks include BMU/Cradle work, jet washing, reach-and-wash cleaning, cladding cleaning and monthly conventional low-level window cleaning.
- You must be confident working at height and have relevant proven experience.
- You should be focused, motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- At least two years’ window cleaning experience is required.
- BMU and cradle experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Full compliance with health and safety regulations is expected at all times.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills are needed to work effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
- You must be able to drive to either a designated pick-up spot in the Burnley/Padiham area, or to/from each work site in Manchester.
- You must have strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to high standards.
- You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, while consistently demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
