Due to ongoing company growth we have a vacancy for a full time (40hrs p/w) Commercial Vehicle Body Builder.
As a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder with us at Brooks Engineering, you will work alongside our team to assemble and install a range of bodies to commercial vehicles.
Previous experience in this area along with MIG / TIG welding experience would be preferred, however, training will also be given.
Job Description:
As a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder at Brooks Engineering you bring everything together. Working as part of our team, fitting a variety of commercial bodies to vehicles, you are expected to produce superior products and continuously improve the way we do so.
What to expect:
- Assembly and installation of tipping, dropside and flatbed bodies to a variety of brand new vehicles.
- Wiring.
- Cutting of materials.
- Fabrication of parts.
Skills Needed:
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to read engineering drawings
· Ability to work under own initiative.
· Good mechanical aptitude.
· Good electrical aptitude.
· Good assembly skills.
· Willingness to learn and grow in position with continued training and development.
· Full UK Driving licence.
