Are you caring, compassionate and passionate about supporting others? We are looking for a Relief Day Care Worker to join our team and help provide high-quality care and support to people attending our day care service.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support service users with their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, promoting dignity, independence and inclusion in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities include:

Supporting personal care and daily living needs.

Encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.

Assisting with meals, refreshments and maintaining a clean environment.

Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.

Working in line with health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
About you
You will be compassionate, patient and flexible, with a genuine desire to help others. You'll be comfortable working in different situations and as part of a wider team. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people who share our values and want to make a positive difference in the lives of older people. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
