Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our production team at BiSN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys working in a manufacturing environment and has a strong attention to detail.
From producing high quality components to assembling tools and sub-assemblies, your work will directly impact what we deliver.
As a hands on individual with an interest in manufacturing and production, you will be able to follow instructions and processes accurately, demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in producing high quality work.
The ideal candidate will need to be reliable, organised and comfortable working in a quality controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, manufacture and prepare components and tools in line with work instructions and production requirements.
- Follow documented processes, procedures and instructions to ensure work is completed accurately and consistently.
- Complete production records and other required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Work confidently with a range of raw materials and alloys used in the manufacturing process.
- Use a range of hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare and finish tools to the required standard.
- Identify and report any quality issues, defects or process concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with company procedures.
- Work with other departments to achieve production targets.
- Undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials safely in line with health and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working in a manufacturing evironment.
- Health and safety awareness, including safe manual handling practices.
- Experience using handtools and carrying out practical tasks.
- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
