Driver's Mate / Appliance Installer (Part-Time)
Location: Wolverhampton
Days / Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 10.30am until 6.30pm. There is also the possibility of extra hours depending on work load.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking driver's mate and appliance installer to join our team. You must be able to lift and carry heavy appliances, load and unload the van and sometimes carry the appliances upstairs where required.
This is a hands-on role involving the delivery and installation of appliances to our customers homes. You'll work alongside our driver, providing excellent customer service and you will be required to install electric cookers and washing machines, so previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the delivery of appliances to customers.
- Safely lift, carry and manoeuvre heavy appliances, including up and down stairs where required.
- Install electric cookers and washing machines safely and competently.
- Remove old appliances where required.
- Ensure all deliveries and installations are completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience installing electric cookers and washing machines.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy appliances.
- Comfortable working in customers homes.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
