We're looking for an enthusiastic Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor to help drive a positive safety culture across our Aberystwyth site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EHS professional who enjoys being visible on the shop floor, building relationships, solving problems and helping people work safely every day.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and maintaining our Environment, Health & Safety Management system.
- Providing practical health, safety and environmental advice across the site
- Supporting accident investigations, incidents and near misses, audits, and risk assessments
- Conducting workplace inspections, site surveys and monitoring compliance
- Delivering training and promoting safe working practices
- Assisting with emergency planning, fire safety and first aid arrangements
- Supporting managers to meet their health and safety responsibilities
- Helping us continuously improve our EHS standards and culture
- Promoting a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture throughout our organisation
What we're looking for
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Experience in a manufacturing, food production or industrial environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach to safety
- The confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours and influence positive change
