Due to continued growth, GB Concrete Mix is looking for a reliable and motivated Class 2 (Category C) Volumetric Concrete Truck Driver to join our friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term career with a growing company. Previous experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer is not essential – full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 volumetric concrete mixer truck.
- Produce and deliver high-quality concrete to customer sites.
- Carry out daily vehicle and plant safety checks.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company positively on site.
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer is not required as full training will be provided.
