Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House (FOH) staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in restaurant service, food safety, and guest relations is required. All positions are paid, including internships, and provide valuable experience in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive first impression of the establishment
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout the guest’s visit
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. If you do not hold Experience in the Pub Industry then please do not apply.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with food preparation, basic maths, and kitchen operations will be beneficial
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue streams
- Experience in culinary environments or with food safety procedures is considered a plus
