Role Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer in the Gloucestershire area to join our growing team, helping us to make a positive difference to the communities we work in. You’ll carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems across Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and into Bristol, with a strong focus on building trusted relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
This is a mobile role supported by structured in house scheduling, reliable backup and a company that values professionalism and getting the job done right. You’ll be part of a respected, well organised team, with the opportunity to grow and develop your career.

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, proof of eligibility will be required prior to starting employment (essential)
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- EAL Level 3 Award in BS 5839-1:2025 or equivalent (essential)
- This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, you must be able to satisfy the requirements for clearance (essential)
Desirable:
- 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.
- Industry recognised fire and security qualifications (i.e. FIA, City & Guilds etc)
- Understanding regulatory compliance (e.g. BS5839, NSI, BAFE)
- Understanding of IP, networking and IoT devices
- BAFE Certificate in Portable Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
- 18th Edition
