Description - PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE BARISTA EXPERIENCE
We’re looking for a fun and experienced barista that must have proven ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrated knowledge of coffee products, equipment, and tea products. There will be times where the shop will be extremely busy and they must be able to remain calm and keep the team motivated. You must be able to dial in a variety of coffees in order to achieve optimum extraction and taste and be experienced with specialty coffee.
This is a brand new shop so it's imperative we get a candidate who is comfortable and experienced to hit the ground running and ensure high coffee standards from day 1.
Requirements
A passion for coffee
At least 1 year experience working with specialty coffee
A keen understanding and experience of brew ratios, extractions, milk texturizing and latte art.
Excellent communication skills
A team player who has the ability to motivate those around them
Ability to remain calm under pressure and to think on one’s feet
Experience dialling in different specialty coffees
