About the Team
You’ll be part of a collaborative and ambitious Philanthropy team, working alongside fundraising colleagues, service delivery teams, finance professionals, and senior leaders to secure vital funding that supports the organisation’s mission. The team is focused on building meaningful relationships with trusts, foundations, statutory funders, and other supporters to generate sustainable income and maximise impact for autistic people and their families
About the Role
As Trust and Statutory Manager, you’ll play a key role in securing significant funding from trusts, foundations, and statutory funders to support the National Autistic Society’s strategic priorities and services. Managing a portfolio of high-value supporters, you’ll develop compelling funding proposals, identify new funding opportunities, and build long-term relationships that drive sustainable income growth. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll ensure funders receive excellent stewardship while helping to secure the resources needed to make a lasting difference.
What You’ll Do

Responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio of high-value statutory, trust and foundation funders, securing significant grants typically ranging from £50,000 to £500,000.

You will use your excellent written communication skills to produce high-quality applications/proposals, reports and donor correspondence.

You will develop and deliver tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans to maximise donor retention and income growth.
