We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Welfare Cabin Cleaner to work on a live construction project at Kendrew Barracks. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across temporary site welfare facilities used by construction personnel during the build phase.
Important Requirement
Applicants must already hold valid BPSS clearance. No sponsorship or clearance applications will be provided.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of temporary welfare cabins on an active construction site. The role is essential in ensuring safe, hygienic, and fully operational facilities for site workers throughout the working day.
- Mon- Fri
- ANY 4 HOURS (same everyday)
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning welfare cabins including toilets, showers, changing rooms, and canteen areas
- Ensuring all facilities are cleaned to a high standard and ready for daily use
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Emptying waste bins and managing general waste disposal
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately
- Following all site health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Working safely around ongoing construction activity
Essential Requirements
- Valid BPSS clearance (must already be held prior to application)
- Previous experience in cleaning, ideally on construction sites or welfare facilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Understanding of site health & safety procedures
Desirable Experience
- Welfare cabin cleaning on construction or industrial sites
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling
