Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and portion sizes
- Coordinate with the head chef on menu development, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a safe working environment
- Support in training new team members and fostering a positive team atmosphere
- Assist in serving customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service
- Manage kitchen operations during shifts in the absence of the head chef
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
- Extensive food production and culinary experience across diverse cuisines
- Strong team management and leadership abilities
- Proficient in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
