Job Summary
Vision Connected Remote Technicians are responsible for carrying out ADAS work, vehicle module programming, calibrations and diagnostic assistance remotely to our customers via a remote platform. Providing manufacturer level support across all makes and models in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Carry out remote support for our client base of accident repair centres. This will involve using both Main Dealer and Aftermarket diagnostic equipment. Most common tasks are ADAS work, module programming, and diagnosis assistance.
- Reporting on all work completed to ensure high standards are maintained and evidenced.
- Ask all appropriate questions to the technician at site to allow safe completion of work and to ensure all risk is minimised.
- Ensure open jobs awaiting parts or testing are followed up in an appropriate timescale. This includes uncompleted jobs from previous days.
- Maintain/strengthen company relations with clients.
- Communicate with other team members
Requirements
- Level 2 motor vehicle repair qualification or higher.
- 3 years vehicle dealership experience (preferred).
- Current IMI ADAS certificate – training can be provided if required
- Intermediate IT skill level
- DBS checks will be required annually.
- Additional qualifications or experience such as Hybrid or EV training welcomed.
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
