Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Handyman – SSSTS
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Handyman with SSSTS to join our team on residential construction projects.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work independently, carry out a range of carpentry and general building tasks, and also act as a working supervisor when required.
Responsibilities include:
- First and second-fix carpentry
- General handyman and finishing works
- Doors, skirting, architraves, ironmongery and remedial works
- Coordinating and overseeing small teams of operatives
- Organising day-to-day works and materials
- Liaising with site management
- Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Keeping basic records of works completed
- Ensuring operatives follow RAMS and site requirements
Requirements:
- Valid SSSTS
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong carpentry and general building experience
- Own tools
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable supervising operatives while remaining hands-on
- Driving licence preferable
Pay: £25.00-£27.50 per hour
