Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing parts, assisting estimators, and ensuring smooth operations within our Accident Repair centre. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for automotive or maintenance-related sectors. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and supporting the daily functions of the parts department.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the estimators and technicians in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their needs, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Providing accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery times
- Accurately order and supply parts to support workshop efficiency
- Handling phone enquiries with professional etiquette and clear communication skills
- Supporting maintenance tasks within the department to ensure operational efficiency
- Liaising with technicians and suppliers to coordinate part orders and deliveries
- Keeping records of transactions, returns, and warranty claims
Experience
- Previous experience in a parts advisory role is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures or automotive parts is beneficial
