Salary: £16,640 to £26,436.80

Hours: Between Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
About the Role -
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development while providing high-quality care in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children's individual development, and working closely with colleagues and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress, maintaining accurate learning journeys and assessments.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Act as a key person for a group of children, supporting their individual needs and development.
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and emotional needs are met at all times.
- Support children's personal care routines, including toileting, nappy changing, meal times and promoting independence.
- Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality, equality and diversity.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team and contribute to planning meetings, training and continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor apprentices or junior members of staff where appropriate.

Essential Requirements -
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
Desirable -
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training).
- Knowledge of child development and inclusive practice.
