Responsibilities
As our Administrative Assistant, you will provide a focused and efficient administrative service to the Workshop Manager and deliver a range of tasks including:
Handle correspondence, emails and phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Prepare and organize documents, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.
Assist with data entry tasks to maintain accurate workshop records of time recording and jobs
Prepare material for social media and marketing communication using appropriate software tools
Maintain and improve our contact database and CRM records
Support organising open days, events and fairs
Co-ordinate our work on legacies and bequests including information and promotion
Handle donation fund raising
Prepare reports and agendas using Microsoft Office
Produce accurate meeting minutes and spreadsheets
Essential skills
Previous experience working in an office administration role
Good verbal and written skills
Good organisational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Willingness to learn new skills and develop
Other previous skills advantages
Digital media applications e.g. Photo shop

Familiarity with using Mac OS
Accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing
