Clarity Point Ventures is looking for an experienced Senior IT Manufacturing Manager to join our growing operations team in London. You'll play a key role in overseeing IT systems and infrastructure that support manufacturing operations, while mentoring junior team members and driving best practices across both IT and production environments.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams, you'll contribute to the technical and operational direction of our production systems and help deliver reliable, efficient solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee IT systems, infrastructure and software supporting manufacturing operations.
- Lead technical design discussions and decisions relating to production and operational technology.
- Ensure the reliability, security and performance of manufacturing IT systems.
- Review work and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system improvements and new capabilities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to IT governance, compliance and best practices across manufacturing sites.
- Champion system quality, uptime and operational efficiency.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- 5+ years' experience in IT management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, or similar operational software.
- Experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, and system security.
- Strong understanding of data management and system integration.
- Experience with project management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience with Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, or industrial control systems.
- Experience with automated testing or quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience mentoring team members or leading IT projects.
- Relevant certifications (PRINCE2, ITIL, or similar).
