About the role

New Leaf Haven Homes is recruiting Support Workers for our brand new CQC registered home.
We provide specialist residential support for adults with autism and learning disabilities in a calm, smaller 4 bed home environment. We are looking for people who are caring, reliable and patient, and who want to make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
This role is about supporting individuals to live in a way that works for them, while promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing.
We believe consistency, routine and strong relationships are key to successful support.
Role purpose

Key responsibilities
- Support people with daily routines, meals and activities
- Build positive, trusting relationships
- Follow and contribute to support plans and risk assessments
- Promote Active Support in everyday tasks
- Support emotional wellbeing and help reduce anxiety
- Maintain accurate records and clear communication
- Complete daily paperwork and handovers to support safe and consistent care

Day shift support workers will
- Support people through their daytime routines, appointments, activities and daily living tasks
