Job Overview
Based at our Airdrie office and reporting to our Senior Office Administrator, this is a varied, full-time role supporting our project managers, commercial team and wider business. You'll be one of the first voices people hear when they call IRS, and one of the people making sure projects, paperwork and the day-to-day office run smoothly.
Duties
- Being the welcoming voice of IRS Construction - answering incoming calls, handling enquiries from clients, residents, suppliers and the wider team, and making sure every caller is dealt with promptly and professionally
- Running the day-to-day office - general administration, keeping things organised and being the person colleagues know they can rely on to keep the workflow moving
- Supporting our project teams - preparing and managing project RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) so site teams have what they need to work safely
- Helping us win and retain work - completing supplier questionnaires and pre-qualification documents to high standard
- Managing client and contractor portals - uploading and maintaining project information so our clients have clear visibility of progress and compliance
- Supporting our managers - keeping their paperwork, reports and documentation in order so they can focus on delivery
- Looking after the fleet - arranging vehicle maintenance, servicing and compliance for our company vehicles, keeping our teams safely on the road
- Producing technical reports - pull-out test reports, U-value reports and other property documentation supporting our project delivery
- Sage - Supporting accounting and payroll
You'll be organised, friendly, and confident handling a varied workload across multiple projects. Comfortable on the phone, confident with paperwork, and happy to pick up new systems quickly.
Sage experience is essential. Previous experience in a construction, facade, or building services environment would be a real advantage, but we'd encourage applications from anyone with strong administrative experience and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Pay: £13.45-£15.00 per hour
