Cura Terrae Water is looking for an experienced Team Leader – Field Service Engineer to lead the delivery of Continuous Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM) projects across the UK.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise with team support. You’ll lead Field Service Engineers while carrying out installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding activities on water quality monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Field Service Engineers delivering CWQM projects.
- Install, commission, maintain and repair monitoring systems and associated equipment.
- Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and site surveys.
- Ensure systems are configured correctly and delivering reliable data.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, including RAMS.
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients and internal teams to deliver successful projects.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and support to engineers.
- Complete service reports and project documentation accurately.
About You
You’ll have:
- Experience in Field Service Engineering, ideally within water, utilities or environmental sectors.
- Strong experience with instrumentation, telemetry, commissioning and fault finding.
- Experience leading or supporting engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to travel.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- CWQM experience.
- Light civils or construction experience.
- Confined Space certification.
- CSCS card or equivalent.
