The Role: Quality Technician
Location: Hemswell, DN21 5TU
Shift Pattern/Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (12 hour days / 12 hour nights)
Salary: £30,557.02 - £32,398.48 (with potential for further increase once additional requirements completed)

Purpose of the role:
The role will include completing laboratory tests to positively release flake and pellet samples, whilst supporting production with investigations to improve the process and ensure right first time.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure Clean Tech testing is completed according to the test methods and defined frequency. Taking action based upon the results obtained.
- Assisting with customer and quality requirements, for example inspections and further sampling/testing.
- Supporting trials
- Supporting production with investigations to improve the process and right first time.
- Fulfilling the internal auditor schedule
- Improving the quality culture across the site.
What we are looking for:
- Good level of English, Numeracy and Computer skills
- The ability to work well within a team and individually, and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks. Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Experience of completing investigations to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Comfortable working in a production environment - this role requires a large amount of time within the production environment
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
