Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating over-the-counter medications and health products
- Provide accurate information about medication usage, storage, and safety precautions
- Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with inventory management, stock replenishment, and organization of the medication counter
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to medication handling and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medication area to promote a safe shopping environment
- Assist in processing transactions accurately at the point of sale
- Support patient care initiatives by answering general health questions and directing customers to appropriate healthcare professionals when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a retail pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration principles and over-the-counter products
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
