Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Watford Islamic Centre, Watford
Pay: £45 per hour

Watford Islamic Centre is looking for a knowledgeable and committed *Science Teacher* to deliver high-quality Science tuition and learning support to students.
We are looking for someone who can explain Science clearly, help students build confidence, and support them with school learning, revision, and exam preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons to students.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on experience.
- Support students with understanding key concepts, exam questions, and revision skills.
- Plan lessons based on student ability and learning needs.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback where needed.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment.
- Work professionally with the WIC team, parents, and students.
Requirements:
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or classroom experience preferred.
- Confident working with children and young people.
- Reliable, organised, and professional.
- Good communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS preferred, or willingness to complete one.
- Safeguarding training preferred.
