Part time cleaning role available.
1.5 hours per day Monday to Friday. 7.5 hours per week in total. Key job which is ideally carried out after 5pm each day but some flexibility on time.
Premises located in Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne so must be able to get to this location.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in commercial settings, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and efficiently
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a tidy and organised workspace throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as required
