We are looking for two empathetic and kind individuals to join our team of Personal Assistants caring for a friendly middle-aged woman living in the West End of Dundee.
This role involves providing care in the employer’s own home and completing day-to-day household tasks. The ideal candidate will be an understanding person who enjoys and is competent in cooking, housework and maintaining and organising a home. You will also be caring for the employer’s friendly cat.
No previous care experience is required for this role as full training will be provided. However, a willingness to learn is essential. Whilst this role involves personal care, it does not involve any heavy lifting or use of hoists.
We have the following vacancies:
Job 1:
- Weekly Friday evening 18:00-20:00
- Alternate weekend Saturday and Sunday evening shift 18:00 - 20:00 (1 week on, 1 week off for Sat/Sun evening shifts)
- Relief shifts to cover sickness and holidays
Job 2:
- Weekly Saturday morning shift 10:45am-12:45pm
- Weekly Sunday morning 10:45am-12:45pm
- Relief shifts to cover sickness and holidays

Requirements:
- No care experience necessary
- Valid DBS is now required by law for personal assistants, the employee will be responsible for ensuring this is completed
- We are only able to accept applications from women due to the nature of this role
- Must enjoy and be capable of cooking healthy and nutritious meals
- Must be able to provide recent employment references
- Driving licence with access to a car preferred however not essential, please still get in touch!
- Please note, the job is located in West End of Dundee and shifts usually last for around 2 hours. Please take into account whether it is worthwhile for you to commute before applying for this role.
