Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service while addressing their automotive needs. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, providing accurate information about services, and facilitating the repair process. Your mechanical knowledge will be essential in advising customers effectively and ensuring their satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Handle cash transactions securely and accurately.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust.
- Proven ability in upselling services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Solid mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Experience in cash handling with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
