Cover Chef Wanted – Casual, Flexible Work Across Three Sites!
Already working in hospitality but have shifts to spare? This one's for you.
We're looking for a Cover Chef on a casual, zero-hours basis to help us out when holidays hit or the rota needs filling. There's no set hours, no obligation — we'll reach out when we need cover and you pick up what works for you. Simple as that.
You'll be working across our three sites — Canteen on the Ormeau Road, Boardwalk Bangor, and Boardwalk Donaghadee — so the ability to get between them is important.
What the work looks like:
- Ad hoc shifts covering holidays, sickness, and rota gaps
- No guaranteed hours — we call, you decide if it works for you
- Could be a few shifts a week or a month, could be more — it varies
What You Bring:
- Solid kitchen experience — Commis, CDP, or Sous level
- The ability to walk into a kitchen and get on with it
- Reliability — when you say yes to a shift, we need you there
- Flexibility to work across our three sites when needed
